After working as an auto mechanic, Luis Araujo wanted something more. He then discovered baking to be his passion. While he attends culinary school at the Culinary Institute of California in Sacramento, he works as a prep cook and dishwasher at Topwater Cafe.
Recently, he entered into the Farmer’s Market pie contest, where he won second place three times. Araujo took some time on a recent morning to talk about his culinary creations.
