- Classes are offered Monday, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Littleton Community Center, 410 Civic Drive. Purchase passes at the Parks and Recreation Department, 610 Chabolla Ave., during business hours or on line at www.ci.galt.ca.us.
- Youth classes are offered on Wednesday, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for Little Stars (ages 4 to 7) and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for Big Stars (ages 8 to 12).

Like many women who stay home with their children instead of working outside of the home, Amy Farris was looking for some “me” time.
When she discovered the Latin dance class commonly known as Zumba, she realized the break from chores and other motherly duties could double as exercise. Farris has been taking Zumba courses for three years and received her certification to teach last August. Now, she’s teaching four Zumba courses weekly through the Galt Parks and Recreation Department. While the youth classes are at near capacity, Farris is looking for additional participants for the adult courses.
