Don a moustache and run for your life at the Sacramento Moustache Run on Saturday.
- If you go
What: Sacramento Moustache Run
When: Saturday at 4 p.m.
Where: Sutter’s Landing, 20 28th Street, Sacramento.
Tickets: $40 in advance or $45 at the time of the event.
Information: Visit www.sacramentomoustacherun.com.
Considerations: Children are welcome as long as they can complete the 5K distance and their legal guardian signs a waiver. If a stroller is needed, keep in mind the pathway is dirt so it should be a proper jogging stroller. Dogs are welcome but not at the after party. The event isn’t timed but there will be clocks available at the start and finish for you to time yourself. Wear whatever feels comfortable but don’t forget your moustache!

Do you enjoy running? Do you sport a moustache that you would do anything to protect? Or, maybe you wish you had a moustache you could proudly wear while you strut your stuff. Whatever the case may be, head on down to the Sacramento Moustache Run.
The 5K run/walk is for girls and guys of all ages and runners and walkers of all levels and includes those with an outstanding display of facial hair as well as the facial hair challenged. Don’t have a moustache? No worries. Just paint, carry or wear a fake moustache. While running or walking the 5K, you can take in the scenery along the American River as well as through Sutter’s Landing Park. But, don’t waste too much time. Your endurance will be put to the test as an old fashioned barber chases you to try and give you a clean shave. You will need to run to protect your pride and joy.
