1. Edible Science: An Adventure in Molecular Gastronomy and Mixology
On Saturday, from 6 to 9 p.m., the World of Wonders Science Museum will host, Edible Science, an event mixing science and culinary arts. Well-known chefs from throughout the Valley will explore the physical and chemical transformations of edible ingredients with the science of molecular gastronomy. There will also be a new addition this year in the form of “Mixology” — the art and science of creating cocktails. Those who attend must be 21 years old. The event will be held at 2 N. Sacramento St. Cost is $45 per person and $80 per couple.
