Net leggings, shiny top hats, men in corsets — this isn’t some circus convention but a collection of dedicated fans, young and old, that is cult-like in nature. Sitting between these lively characters could make anyone feel like an outcast, so don’t just sit around, join the celebration doing the Time Warp to meld into this gathering of madness — the madness that is “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
It’s just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right, and eventually a drive down to the University of the Pacific to see the film and its re-enactment. Fans of this mid-’70s movie are encouraged to throw things and shout to their heart’s content. Come as you are and come dressed as you please — but don’t bring the kids, because this movie is intended for those 18 or older.
