The concert will feature Ravel’s “Le Tombeau de Couperin,” and Bizet’s “Symphony in C Major.” Also included will be American composer Michael Daugherty’s “Trail of Tears,” which illustrates the five-month forced migration in the 1830s of 15,000 Cherokee men, women and children from Tennessee. Performing “Trail of Tears” will be flute soloist Jennifer Olson, who is an international recording artist and is an active performer in several orchestras.
