1. Civil War enactment at living history event

Re-live the Civil War at a living history event on Saturday at the Old Lockeford Schoolhouse, 19456 N. Jack Tone Road. The event, open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include Union and Confederate military camps, soldiers in period uniforms who will be drilling, marching and firing volleys from period muskets. There will be a surgeon on hand to talk about Civil War medicine and demonstrate period medical techniques. The 19th-century restored schoolhouse will also be open to the public. The Clements-Lockeford Lions Club will have tri-tip sandwiches available for purchase.
