After Curt Juran went through the UC Master Gardener program, he wanted to get a community garden going in Lodi. He eventually learned the LOEL Center had an area set up for one. He volunteered to help get it going and is hoping to have it up and running by the end of August. Juran took some time on a recent afternoon to talk about the future garden and the benefits of community gardens.

Why do you feel this garden will be beneficial?
