What's the attraction: Stockton is the home of the Thunder, an ECHL hockey team affiliated with the NHL's San Jose Sharks and Edmonton Oilers. And the Thunder have several home games coming up. The first 1,500 fans at tonight's game will receive a bobblehead of right wing Kevin Baker. The first 1,000 fans ages 12 and under will receive a free T-shirt at Saturday night's game, and Sunday is Family Day, with four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and $4 off merchandise at the Arena's store for $34.
What to expect: The arena darkens, and a screen lights up far above the heads of the audience, showing highlights of past games. Then the crowd starts roaring, first boos as the referees and opposing teams take to the ice, then cheers as the home team skates in.
