When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19 through Feb. 23. Last tickets are sold 60 minutes before closing
Cost: $22 for adults and $12 for children ages 3 to 17. The Mellennium Falcon experience is an additional $5 for adults and $4 for children.

Considerations: The event will also feature lectures about the making of the movies by those involved in the process. On Oct. 31 and Jan. 17, you can experience Jedi Tech, a hands-on science workshop where you can make your own techsabers, light paintings and hovercraft, and Jedi Nights where you can dress up in your favorite Star Wars costume, participate in the Jedi Academy, and take pictures with the 501st Legion.

Can’t wait for Disney to come up with Star Wars Episode Seven? Or favoring the legendary series’ past? A great event in Star Wars — and science itself — isn’t so far, far away.
The Tech Museum of Innovation is holding a momentous event, which is sure to be remembered by fans of science and pop culture alike. Over 80 pieces of memorabilia from all six Star Wars movies will be displayed in the 10,000 square foot exhibit, “Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination,” presented by Bose Corporation.
