Favorite Place to eat: With the wineries popping up in and around Lodi, and the influx of more and more visitors, the dining options have perked up accordingly. Good news to the local foodies.
For breakfast, I like the Dancing Fox. They have a lovely bakery, great coffee and perfect rustic breakfasts. One of my favorites is the Saraphina’s Surprise, which would actually be good any time of day.
For lunch, I love the comfort and old-school atmosphere of the Village Coffee Shop. It’s just what it sounds like. Good food and friendly, hard-working waitresses who make sure you’re always happy.
Dining at night offers many options, but my go-to place is Woodbridge Crossing. They have a reliable menu that never disappoints. Great seafood and prime rib if you’re so inclined.
Not to miss on a tour of Lodi: I have to stick with what I know and say the wineries. Anyone who comes to visit gets at least one wine-tasting day. It’s everything they say it is!
Favorite outing in or around Lodi: Locke. I love the history, buildings and atmosphere of Locke. 15 minutes up the road and you’re in a different world.
Favorite place to browse and shop: New & Again. This is a large consignment store in Downtown Lodi with furniture, pictures, dishes, jewelry ... you name it. I could spend hours in there (and have). And it’s conveniently located across the street from the Dancing Fox.
