Before Adalbertaco’s opened on Kettleman Lane three weeks ago, Lodians needed to drive to Elk Grove or Stockton to satisfy a late-night craving for an authentic breakfast burrito that features fluffy scrambled eggs and peppery chorizo. Now they can head over to a newly opened restaurant on Kettleman Lane that stays open until midnight to satisfy that craving for chimichangas.

Housed in what previously was an Arby’s, Adalbertaco’s is open daily and features homemade rolled tacos with crunchy corn tortillas, forearm-sized chimichangas and comfort foods like menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. The refried beans, rice, salsas and other key ingredients are freshly made everyday, said manager Lilia Ortiz.
