Glazed. Sprinkled. Maple bars. Filled. When it comes to doughnuts, Meng and Chi Lim know what their customers like. After 21 years, the husband-wife duo have mastered the art of the warm, tasty and decadent doughnutt: the item behind their business, Village Donut.
For more than two decades, Village Donut has had its storefront on Lockeford and Ham streets. Many of their customers are regulars, like Don Kundert, who has been getting his morning coffee and doughnut from Village for “as long as they’ve been open,” he said.
