With black and white checked floors, sleek black tables and chairs, and industrial-looking brick and metal finished walls, a newly remodeled restaurant on Lodi Avenue could easily be a chic Asian bistro. Or a neighborhood seafood joint. Or even a small-scale mom and pop steakhouse. But with creative chefs Melissa and Walter Ng running the kitchen, Zin Bistro’s lunch and dinner menus cross between cultures with ease.

“It’s such a neighborhood location, people are talking to other tables or across the room,” Melissa Ng said. “I love it.”
