Galt is well known for its flea market, its Strawberry Festival, and now, for its cheese “skirts” from The Squeeze Inn.

The restaurant that started as a tiny diner on Fruitridge Road now has five burger joints between Sacramento, Galt (545 Industrial Way), Napa, West Sacramento and Roseville. Their specialty burger, the Squeeze with Cheese, has been made famous on cooking shows, including The Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.” The show’s host and Sacramento native Guy Fieri even went on “The Jay Leno Show” and told a national audience that the burger at Squeeze Inn is one of the two best burgers in America.
