Campaign contributions to Lodi City Council candidates

Database of campaign contributions to Lodi City Council candidates.

Click here to load this Caspio Online Database app.

The database includes reported donations for all the current council members — Larry Hansen, Susan Hitchcock, Bob Johnson, Phil Katzakian and JoAnne Mounce. The entries include every recorded donation the five received since January 1998.

In California, candidates are required to report all donations above $100. Any contributions $99 or under are not disclosed, so they are not included in the data.

You can search by council member, donor, date or company. You can also search by type of donation, which specifies whether the donation was from an individual, business, union or other group.

The database information came from campaign finance reports filed with the Lodi City Clerk’s office. The forms are also available at the city of Lodi's website.

The database only includes campaign filings for Larry Hansen, Susan Hitchcock, Bob Johnson, Phil Katzakian and JoAnne Mounce.

The amount of detail for each contribution varies from candidate to candidate depending on the accuracy of the campaign filings. Some of the entries might be incomplete, incorrect or misspelled based on unfinished or illegible campaign filings.

Once you take a look at the database, I want to hear from you. Let me know if there are any mistakes or if you find any trends in the data.

Contact me by e-mail or by phone at 209-369-7035. You can also check out my blog, City Buzz, where I will post additional stories based on the data.
