FongAge: 18 Future plans: Attend the California Institute of Technology to major in mathematics. I plan on attending graduate school, maybe at MIT, and pursuing a doctorate in mathematics. Activities: Link Crew, varsity tennis, math club vice president, California Scholarship Federation, Academic Decathlon team captain, Science Bowl captain, Science Olympiad captain, Amnesty International, math tutoring, and volunteer at Salvation Army warehouse. Awards and scholarships: National Merit Commended Scholar, Golden State Merit Diploma with eight high honors, Honor Roll, Student of the Month, Link Crew, Boys State/Camp Royal nominee, Lodi Unified School District Super Star Award, and The Record Pinnacle Award Most memorable experience: Winning the regional and NorCal Science Olympiad competitions and a tennis match against Stagg 7-6, with 20-18 in the first set tiebreak. JeskeAge: 17 Future plans: Go on a mission trip to Mexico and a Christian camp at Hume Lake during the summer. Attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study chemical engineering. First and foremost, I want to live a life pleasing to God. Hopefully along those lines, I want to be able to help others either within or outside of my career. M. NguyenAge: 17 Future plans: Attend USC under the Trojan Admission to Pre-Pharmacy Program to study pharmacy. I dont want to simply dispense medication from behind a counter. I want to become an integral part in the management of drug therapy. I hope to contribute my time and effort to patients as well as my skills and knowledge to the profession. Most importantly, I wish to continue along the lines of current pharmacists who are on the forefront of health care.
