Future plans: Attend Cosumnes River College for a year, then transfer to a four year. Continue to work.
“I plan to become a speech therapist and someday have a family.”
Activities: Soccer, library volunteer, LHS, California Scholarship Federation and class activities
Awards and scholarships: Scholar Athlete, MVP for soccer, Most Inspirational Award recipient for soccer, Principal’s Honor Roll, CSF Sealbearer and Top 10 Award all four years
Most memorable experience: “The one thing I will carry with me throughout my life are the friendships that I’ve made and kept in high school.”

Future plans: Attend Cosumnes River College for general education courses. Obtain a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration.
“After that is accomplished, I hope to also get a master’s degree.”
Activities: AVID club member, treasurer and vice president, child development program, and Students Reaching Out Club
Awards and scholarships: Golden State Exam in Geometry, Bank of America Achievement Award for foreign language, Joe Serna, Jr. Scholarship and Paula Defference Scholarship
Most memorable experience: “When I was nominated by Ms. Binney to receive the Bank of America Award in the category of Foreign Language, and I received it too.”

Future plans: Work for a construction company over summer. Attend UC Davis to major in zoology in the fall.
“I’d like to work outside with a job involving animals and nature. I’d also like to build a race car for fun on the weekends.”
Activities: Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, golf and drag racing on Wednesdays
Awards and scholarships: Bank of America Achievement Award in math, Financial Center Credit Union Scholarship and Who’s Who Among America High School Students
Most memorable experience: “Having great teachers like Mr. Sakat. He really prepared me for college and for important tests.”

Future plans: Work at Fitness Works in Lodi to continue teaching karate. Attend San Joaquin Delta College in the fall.
“In the future, I plan to be a financial planner. I also plan to be on the United States national team for karate.”

Most memorable experience: Being recognized for all of my hard work.

“I want to focus on either public relations or advertising for major agricultural companies.”
Activities: Volleyball, varsity softball, Letterman’s Honor Society president, CSE, Senior Class secretary and Community Service Committee chairwoman for FFA
Awards and scholarships: Bank of America Award in Applied Arts, four-time all-League MVP two years in varsity softball, scholarship, Who’s Who Among America High School Students, Honors on the Golden State Exam in Spanish and Honors on the ACE Test, and Scholar Athlete
Most memorable experience: Making the All-League Team four years in a row playing varsity softball.
“I was the first female athlete in Galt High School’s history to receive this honor.”

Age: 17
Future plans: Attend the UC Santa Barbara in the fall.
“In the future, I hope to be a child psychologist and living in Southern California. Hopefully I will be doing a lot of traveling.”
Activities: Lifetime member of California Scholarship Federation, LHS, tutor, volleyball team member and captain
Awards and scholarships: MVP for volleyball, honorable mention all-league, Scholar Athlete, Assemblyman Anthony Pescetti’s Superstar Award and CSF Sealbearer
Most memorable experience: Winning the last volleyball game this years, winning basketball and football championship two years ago and spending time with friends.

Future plans: Go to Germany for three weeks in the summer. Attend Pepperdine University in the fall to study education, law or youth counseling.
Activities: Varsity soccer, rugby, Science Olympiad, international club, drama club, speech and debate, Letterman’s Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, Goethe Soccer Cup, Warriors for Christ, Key club, American Civil Liberties Union and Associated Student Body
Awards and scholarships: Golden State Exam Merit Scholar, National Merit Scholarship semifinalist, Elks Lodge Most Valuable Student, Sam Welton Scholar, Liberal Arts plaque winner for Bank of America, Daughters of American Revolution finalist, Sierra Bible Camp Senior Camper of Year, state and national speech qualifier, James T. Prichard Award, Freshman and Sophomore Actor of Year, High Honors on Golden State Exam in geometry, algebra, high school math and economics, Honors on Golden State Exam in reading comprehension and written composition, Recognition on Golden State Exam in biology, chemistry, U.S. history and CSF Sealbearer.
Most memorable experience: Attending Core Camp at San Jose with the other ASB officers.
“It opened me up to people I didn’t know very well and was also insightful ... . Not only this, but I ‘fast-danced’ for the first time with some support from others, had a lot of fun and saw a guy run straight into a glass door ... ouch!”

Future plans: Taking a three week trip to Germany in the summer. Attend CSU Sacramento to major in history in the fall.
“Career-wise, I would like to be a teacher or a broadcast journalist either on TV or radio. I wouldn’t mind living in Santa Cruz or North Carolina.”
Activities: Drama and Students Reaching Out
Awards and scholarships: Bank of America Achievement Award in history. Best Junior in Drama, Most Valuable Player for Spring Play and Golden State Merit Diploma
Most memorable experience: “Probably when I worked the lights for Mr. Prichard’s last play here, ‘A Midsummers Night’s Dream.’ It was an extensive set-up and complicated. That made it fun.”

“I’m not sure what I want to do yet. I’ll take it one step at a time (maybe teaching?).”
Activities: Swim team, drama club, three plays, speech team, lifeguarding, choir and ACLU Club.
Awards and scholarships: Bank of America Award in science, Principal’s Honor Roll and Top 10 Award all four years.
Most memorable experience: Prom.
“I had a magical night and really felt bonded with my friends.”
