Once again, it's time to check with local growers on the status of roduce at area farms. Who is harvesting? Who is spraying?

Due to a cool spring, many growers are behind schedule, but harvest is underway for cherries and asparagus picking is all but finished. Almond and walnut growers are tending to their crops and winegrapes are starting to bloom. Growers are hoping the wet weather is behind them and they are looking forward to a warm, dry summer.
