The Coldanis, a Lodi family, have combined their Italian roots with a family history of farming, added in a college senior project, and created Calivirgin, one of California’s top award-winning olive oils. Their premium extra-virgin olive oil, flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars can be found every Thursday at the Downtown Lodi Farmers Market.
It all began when Mike Coldani was working on his senior project at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, according to his wife Julie Coldani, who serves as director of marketing and sales.
