Fiori's Butcher Shoppe & Deli, founded in 1983 by Joe and Barbara Fiori on West Lodi Avenue, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in business on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some surprises for its customers.
Fiori's was initially known for selling sides of beef, pork and other meats as Joe Fiori cured his own pastrami, corned beef, smoked salmon and bratwurst. As customers in Lodi became more familiar with the shop, he began getting requests for sandwiches made using his meats and cheeses.

Great sandwiches, great staff, great owners. I recall when Joe opened up as a true butcher's shop, offering all of the great cuts of meat. Joe had ol' Harry Bender working with him, both from Pure Sausage. True skilled craftsmen.
