A new bakery planning to offer European, artisan types of bread will soon open in downtown Lodi's old Cottage Bakery building in conjunction with a boutique winery.
Gregg Lewis, a Lodi clinical psychologist, plans to open the bakery in June or July with his wife, Colleen. The winery, behind the bakery, could take longer to open because he needs to apply for a use permit from the city of Lodi.
