Recently this restaurant was called Joes of Italy. That business has moved into a smaller location in the same complex.. I don't know what their menu is going to be. Glad to see George's back in operation.

Brian: there was a Lay's restaurant in Clements for a few years, but it closed about a year ago.

In any event, I did go to George's when it was on Cotton and 88.

You know, I think I have the restaurant in the shopping center where the grocery store is with George's. What's the name of that place? :)

I ate there from time to time when I lived in Lodi. And I remember when it was Lays Restaurant. My Aunt and Uncle would sometimes meet my Mom and I there on their way down from their home in Diamond Springs near Placerville. This was back in the 70's. Seems like yesterday.
