Mike Todd, Jim Mason and David Phillips have always been into comic books and roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons. It wouldn't take much for them to discuss what made a comic book shop good, great or just plain hideous. So when they decided to open their own shop, it seemed like a natural bestseller.
One year later, the length of time many businesses use to gauge whether they will stay open or not, The Launchpad comic book shop is not only open, they're surpassing their expectations. And despite the current economic climate, they're not the only ones reaching the one-year benchmark.
