- Fitness centers, restaurants sprout up at Bella Terra Plaza
New businesses have been sprouting up lately at Bella Terra Plaza, a 5-acre shopping center on West Kettleman Lane that received a multimillion-dollar facelift starting in 2009.
The plaza, at 1110 W. Kettleman Lane, is a mixture of restaurants and fitness areas. Two new businesses opened recently — Legends Martial Arts and La Bella Tanning.
The center also has Jazzercise, gymnastics and yoga businesses, plus the local Social Security office.
Formerly Beckman Ranch Shopping Center, the complex looked more like a strip mall before owner Shawn Nejad of Southern Calfiornia gave it a major facelift.

Born and raised in Stockton, Khan is a Franklin High School graduate. He’s dabbled in several Stockton businesses ranging from a pizza establishment to International Bazaar grocery store. He also owned Boba Stop, which offers smoothies and healthy iced drinks at Bella Terra Plaza, but Khan recently sold it to engage in what he describes as his passion — martial arts.
