The most successful wineries have learned to keep customers coming back by throwing good parties.
One of the first wineries that comes to mind is Jessie’s Grove with their summer Groovin’ in the Grove concerts. They are one of the few venues with an actual stage built in their old oak grove for some pretty well-known names, such as Elvin Bishop, Ambrosia (“How Much I Feel”), and the “Temptations.”
Jessie’s Grove’s 2009 series will be posted to their Web site soon at http://www.jessiesgrovewinery.com" target= "_blank">www.jessiesgrovewinery.com.

If you’re into dancing, try http://www.lodicellardoor.com/" target="_blank">cellardoor’s Salsa lessons on the last two Thursday nights of this month.
Most wineries also throw big bashes when they release new vintages of their wines. Tim and Lani Holdener of Macchia have demonstrated they are avid partiers, attracting large crowds.
