What I am excited about eating these days:
French Laundry – finally went to this wallet buster for the first time – amazing and well worth the investment! Food was fresh, decadent and perfect – loved it. Can’t wait to go again!
Making my own fruit preserves – amazing satisfying and delicious. It gives me comfort to see the beautiful jars on my shelf all year long. Coming out with my own product line of these very soon!
Sardines – good quality tins of succulent imported sardines in oil – obsessed with them!
Farm fresh eggs and Lucero Organic Farms summer squash, with home-made butter and grated Parmigiano Reggiano. This is my go to meal in a pinch, simple and delicious.
Farro and farro pasta – great meaty texture, nutty flavor, affordable and healthy – amazing stuff.
Carrots – these bad boys are probably my favorite veggie and they are in season locally right now. They are cheap, beautiful and delicious. I am loving carrot, faro and lentil stew and the very simple side dishes of roasted potatoes with big chunky carrots.
