Lodi, entertainment, restaurants and e-mails

I have horrible luck when it comes to communicating. It's really
bizarre, because I'm good with technology most of the time. But my
e-mail goes missing; I'll miss calls on my cell phone and not get
the voicemail for days or even weeks, even when my phone is on the
whole time; AOL Instant Messenger logs me off and on an average of
three or four times every time I go on.
I even have trouble with communication of the non-technological
variety. I received a letter on Saturday that was mailed, according
to the postmark, on June 30, and I regularly get letters and cards
several months late or after they've been destroyed or shredded in
transit.
This is why Lodi needs a music store (preferably locally-owned)
and a computer store (that carries both PC and Apple products).
Every time I order a CD in the mail, or a new cable for my laptop,
I worry that it will never get to me.
In fact, Lodi could use some variety in general. How about some
specialty shops, like a tea shop, or recreation, like a climbing
wall, a bowling alley or a night club? We have all the important
stuff covered, and there are some really cool shops in Downtown,
but we need a little variety, especially now that tours will be
coming here.
A few new restaurants would rock, too. We have plenty of awesome
Mexican and Japanese restaurants, and there're some great Italian
places, but how about Indian, Pakistani, Caribbean or Greek food?
What I wouldn't give for platanos fritos, curry or fresh
baklava.
We have over 60 wonderful wineries, but isn't it time for a
Trader Joe's, too? What would you like to see in Lodi?
