Dave Barry, the quasi-retired Pulitzer-winning humor columnist for the Miami Herald, has been gearing up for the Super Bowl. Yesterday, he wrote about Media Day, and managed to sneak in another comment about U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, a Denver politician who made the mistake of calling Miami a "third world country." Barry declared war on Tancredo in Sunday's column, then continued it Monday, when he mentioned that people might be able to get Super Bowl tickets from Tancredo's office.

But it doesn't end there. Tancredo was quoted in a funny Denver Post column about the matter, saying, ""He's not the first media pundit from a Third World Country to take a shot at me, and certainly he won't be the last."
