About a year ago, I had to cancel my Netflix because the movies were stolen before I got home to check the mail. It happened several times while I was still on the three-at-a-time free trial. I had dozens of movies in my queue. I got e-mails saying they shipped. But days later, still no movies for Lauren. It was frustrating; I was used to getting movies about every two days. Eventually, I reported that my movies never arrived and had them re-send the same movies. Still nothing. Then, they froze my account. Did they think I stole the same movies twice? That just doesn't make sense.
But now that I've moved (yes, to a different Stockton neighborhood), I've started my subscription. I'm still nervous about leaving that bright red envelope outside, for all mail-snatchers to see. But, it's been a month and still no problem. I just feel like it takes longer for Netflix to process my returns; perhaps it's because more people are using the service.
So now, I'm trying to think of movies to add to my queue. So far (because I've seen most new releases) I'm watching the entire series of the '90s show, "Mad About You" with Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser. Yes, I fee like a nerd admitting that, but it was a funny show. I like watching TV shows decades later. That's how I first saw "Sex and the City" and "Six Feet Under," two of my all-time faves.
This is where you come in. I need you to recommend movies/shows/ducumentaries for me. I like almost everything. And who doesn't love talking about their favorite movies?!
