A creative way to save a favorite T-shirt
Have a favorite T-shirt you can’t seem to get rid of or throw out? Turn it into a grocery bag or an applique on hoodies or sweatshirts. For the grocery bag, cut the sleeves off and cut the neck opening slightly larger. The material left over from the sleeves becomes the handles. Turn the T-shirt inside out and sew the bottom opening closed. For an applique, cut out favorite designs on old T-shirts and sew them onto hoodies or sweatshirts. For other ways to use old T-shirts, visit http://www.frugalvillage.com/2010/09/29/recycle-your-t-shirts/.

What to do with those leftover 4th of July hot dog buns? Turn them into bread sticks. Cut the buns apart and butter them. Then top them with garlic and cheese and bake in the oven at 375 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes. For more information, visit http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/category/frugal-tips.

If you have extra eyeshadow applicators because you are someone who uses brushes, you can put those applicators to use. Dampen the applicator and use it to clean around the keys on the computer. When you are done, clean the fuzzies off of it and reuse it the next time. For more information, visit http://www.thriftyfun.com/?gclid=CLXJk76R_LACFSIHRQodJUqLKA.
