Craving some cake? Try making cake in a cup with hot chocolate mix. After spraying cooking spray in the mug, mix four tablespoons of flour, nine tablespoons of hot chocolate mix, a pinch of salt, one egg, three tablespoons of water and three tablespoons of oil. Microwave on high for three minutes and then tip the cake cylinder out of the mug. Serve with ice cream or whip cream, if desired. If you have a bunch of bananas that went bad, you can make fake ice cream from them. Just cut away any bad dark spots, slice them and put them in a freezer bag. Blend frozen bananas with a little milk then add a dash of vanilla or squirt of chocolate syrup. Mix for a soft serve consistency. Ever need to shine some shoes in a pinch? If you don’t have shoe polish on-hand, you can make your own by mixing four teaspoons of lemon juice and one cup of olive oil. Be sure to test a small area on the shoes before doing the entire shoe. For more information, visit http://www.budgetsavvydiva.com/.
