The News-Sentinel asked: Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, recently said “Who am I to judge?” when asked about gay members of the church. Do you agree with his statement? Do you think it will bring any changes?
The Bible does say that we should not judge. But the Bible also clearly teaches moral absolutes. Murder is sin. Drunkenness is sin. Adultery is sin and homosexual sodomy is sin. The church must teach the whole Bible and call these issues sin.
