Yee-Ha! We are really getting excited for the upcoming Reading Roundup Literacy Fair here at the Sentinel. The event is on Saturday, August 25(9:00am -1:00pm on Locust St. between the Library and the Sentinel) and we are roping up all of the final details.

The event is free to the public. Yes, FREE! Yes, EVERYTHING! This includes arts and crafts at the vendor tables, balloons, entertainment, pony rides, mascot hugs, reptile visits, face painting, carnival games, coloring books, picture books and more! Guests even get to check out a real ambulance and fire truck! New York Life will be making free identification cards for all of the children. The library will be holding a musical Book Walk. Local thesbians will present Readers Theater presentations. Cheerleaders will perform just for you! Sparkles and Ravioli will be clowning around the entire event making sure there are smiles everywhere. There will be a lot of fun in every corner of this arena.
