KEWL Kids. Let’s find them.

One of my favorite features is called KEWL (Kids doing Extraordinary and Worthwhile things in and around Lodi) Kids. I love hearing about these students.
As an adult, they encourage me so it’s safe to assume that they are encouraging their peers too. Sometimes young Lodians think that they can’t make a difference until they are older. That’s simply not true! Many Lodi students make the world a better place through their various efforts. Check out some of our past KEWL Kids:
Brianna Watt collects shoes for local shelter
Brianne Wilde knits hats for cancer patients
Amelia Seefeldt travels world to help others
There are many reasons to love this feature, but the worst part is the difficulty in finding these kids. They are out there, but they’re humble. I have never had a KEWL Kid tell me what they are doing. This is where the community can lend a hand.
If you know a local student who is doing something great, let me know! I am always looking for leads for KEWL Kids so keep it in mind throughout your days. When you see or hear about a student doing something extraordinary and worthwhile, give me a call or send me an email!
