Lodi High School seeks judges for Speech and Debate Club Tournament 0 comments

Lodi High School will be hosting a Speech and Debate Club Tournament on Saturday, December 1. The event runs from 7:30am-6:30pm. Twenty schools will participate in 18 various events. The Club is looking for community members to donate their time to judge this event. As a judge, you are sure to be entertained with these incredible student performances. Depending upon the event you are assigned, you may find yourself in tears or laughing hysterically.

A Judges Clinic is being held Tuesday, November 13 from 6:00-7:00pm at Lodi High School (3 Pacific Avenue) in room 7A. This event is open to the public and will be informative as to what the Lodi High School Speech and Debate Club has to offer. Though not mandatory, this clinic will provide an overview for judging the December 1 tournament.

If you are able and willing to be a part of this event, please email Cathryn Geyer at cgeyer@lodiusd.net . Make sure to note the time frame that you are available. In order to keep the event on schedule, make sure to report to the Lodi High School Library promptly at your assigned time. You will receive specific instructions for events, procedures and marking ballots immediately prior to the events you will be judging. Refreshments and meals will be available in the cafeteria for all judges.
