Congratulations to the 2012 Teacher Classroom Hero of secondary education, Todd DeGrandmont. DeGrandmont teaches chemistry and physics at Lodi High School.

Among many heartfelt statements, students who nominated him feel he is available to help them succeed, to help them learn the material instead of just memorizing facts and he changes their way of thinking when it comes to problem solving, all while offering hilarious entertainment as he teaches science.

To hear more about this excellent teacher and see him receive his award, attend the Lodi Community Band Concert on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. This free community event will be at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.
