Many of you reading this have already completed this task, but my son doesn't start school for another week and a half.
That's just enough time for me to pick up a couple new polos (he wears uniforms) and muddle through the list of classroom supplies I'm expected to, well, supply.
This page-long list of pencils, Kleenex, antibacterial hand gel, etc., baffles me. I remember when I was in school, the only thing my mom had to buy every year was a backpack (and that was if I was lucky!). Is this just another sign of the financial state of our state?
In the meantime, anyone know where I can find the cheapest box of 24 Crayola crayons and black Expo markers?
