After a long blogging absense, I'm coming back with one of the top question floating around the newsroom: What do you want to see in Reynolds Ranch?
Here are the answers from the rest of the newsroom:
"Fat Burger. The closest one is at Thunder Valley about an hour away." — Fernando Gallo, our cops reporter.
"A new huge bookstore like a Borders or Barnes and Noble. I also would like a El Pollo Loco." — Rich Hanner, our editor.
"Dave and Busters. It has an arcade and booze. What's not to love?" — Jordan Guinn, business reporter.
"I want a book store that sells movies and magazines and has big chairs in a cafe where I can sleep at lunchtime. Like good magazines, not Martha Stewart." — Lauren Nelson, our Lodi Living Editor.
"One that comes to mind is Whole Foods." — Ross Farrow, our county reporter.
"My restaurant would be Spaghetti Factory and my store is Bed, Bath and Beyond." — Pam Bauserman, our Panorama editor.
"A real home good store like a Crate and Barrel or Williams-Sonoma. I wouldn't buy anything in it, but I would definitely window shopping." — Jennifer Howell, photographer
"A Borders and a Panda Express." — Dan Evans, chief photographer.
"I want a new art store that's not all covered in dust." — Marc Lutz in advertising.
I'm going to be spending some time on the blog over the next couple weeks to get back into a routine, so make sure you check back. I'm hoping to start some new weekly features to encourage myself to post more frequently.
