Should fireworks be legal in Lodi?
I'm getting ready to head over to the Lodi City Council meeting.
The main thing on the agenda will be about whether to legalize
fireworks in city limits from June 28 through July 7.
I started a poll on my Facebook account, but wanted to see if
anyone who reads my blog also wanted to weigh in. What do you
think? Should the city be allowed to sell fireworks and residents
be allowed to shoot them off around the Fourth of July?
At a past meeting,
three members of the council supported allowing fireworks
locally. Also, about 40 members of the community, including
non-profit leaders, showed up to voice their support. We will see
if there is a similar response tonight.

LNS pulls the " Lodians--what you need to know about water meter bill in the mail" but keeps this non story on their web page.
I think it's ridiculous that the sentinel censors it's a good story and their best writter.
If the LNS wants to be relevant it needs to report and follow up on big dollar issues the council men vote for such as water meter funding and Lodi's brige to nowhere---the treat and drink water treatment plant.
