On Wednesday, I wrote an obituary on Larry Littleton, who is considered one of the elder statesmen of Galt.

He had a long list of signficant accomplishments, including incorporating the city in 1946.

Unfortunately, I missed one of his main activities. Orvell Fletcher and Littleton both founded the Lions Club in 1963, said Reuven Epstein, a Galt resident.

Littleton also served as a district governor for the Lions Club from 1981 to 1982. Epstein said the club will help out with Littleton's funeral at 11 a.m. November 13 in the Littleton Community Center.

Thank you to Reuven for pointing out this oversight.

What are your memories of Littleton?
