Remembering two Lodi Police Partners 0 comments

It has been a busy couple of months. Between our 9/11 special section, a Grape Festival special section and learning my new role as our social media organizer, I kind of put my blog on hold briefly. But I'm back and will give this space my full attention during the next couple of weeks.

Make sure you are following the News-Sentinel on Twitter for the most recent updates. We also have a Facebook, and I have my own work one too.

Today, I'm working on a story about two Police Partners who died this past week.

Francis Jolley, who went by Frannie, was a Police Partner for almost 10 years. She worked patrol frequently and did a lot of fingerprinting and administration work in the Partners office.

Frances Reilly, who went by Fran, joined the Partners 18 years ago, which was the program's first year. She worked patrol every Monday for years.

Make sure you pick up a copy of the paper on Wednesday or check online to read more about these extremely dedicated volunteers.
