I will be heading to the yearly State of the City address around lunch time at Hutchins Street Square.

Every year, the mayor outlines the main accomplishments and the challenges that the the city still faces.

Last year, Larry Hansen focused on the wine industry, the San Joaquin Enterprise zone, the General Plan and several other infrastructure projects.

As a gear-head, Mayor Phil Katzakian promises to have a race car themed address today. I imagine he will list reduced costs for water meters, the groundbreaking of the Lodi Energy Center, the Lodi Avenue construction project and the financing of the water treatment plant as the main accomplishments.

So what do you think are the main accomplishments or disappointments from the past year? And what is next?
