Sorry for the lack of updates. This week has really gone fast.

Reminder: Friday is Furlough Friday. Make sure you get any utility bills, library books and stops by the Animal Shelter taken care of today.

Today I wrote a story about Jane Lea withdrawing her petition to limit non-union manager salaries because she needs to rework it. She received feedback on possible legal challenges from a law firm the city hired to review the initiative.

Here are some of the main documents:

Lea's original measure (that she has withdrawn): City_Pay_Cap

City Attorney Steve Schwabauer's summary of the initiative (he is required by state law to draft the summary): Salary-Initiative-Final

Letter from Colantuono and Levin addressing possible legal challenges to the initiative: Lodi-Initiative_Letter
