Finding a nest for 'Ducks'
Do you dig ducks? Are you a coffee connoisseur? Do you know the
best places in Lodi for a jug o' java?
If you answered a resounding "YESSIREEBOB!" to the preceding
questions, then you may be up to the task of finding a regular
haunt for Edwin Aylesbury and Maurice LeMallard, better known to
readers as "Ducks In Lodi."
Anyone who reads my weekly strip in Lodi Living will know that
my duckly duo loves coffee. But I've labored to find a real-life
local setting in which the waddlers can procure their caffeine
fix.
There are the obvious choices: House of Coffees, Java Stop,
Starbucks. But I want to hear from you, the readers (and coffee
shop owners). In which coffee spot should Edwin and Maurice take
roost?
Send me your suggestions, persuade me with your reasoning, and I
will feature that location in upcoming comic strips, along with an
appearance by the owner and/or baristas.
