Certain physical and personality traits stand out in various people that I meet. The more I get to know them, the more prominent those traits become.

Take a look at any number of the drawings I've done that now serve as blog icons as evidence of this.

My latest "had-to-draw-him" moment came from News-Sentinel reporter Jordan Guinn.

Guinn's quiet, yet wicked sense of humor plays easily into his overall character. He has a look about him that seems as though he is searching for mischief. It's an impish quality, if you will.

In any case, all these things made it a fun drawing to create.
