A "Zombie Walk" is slated to be held Oct. 29 throughout Downtown Lodi. Screaming citizenry need not apply.

Dead Lodians Walking
This is just too good to pass up.
For those among us who love all things zombie, a movement
(specifically, the kind where one foot is dragged and arms are held
out in front) has been started.
Zombie Walk Lodi is seeking to bring together the city's zombies
— or just those that like to dress up as the living dead — and
encourage them to exercise. Namely by walking ... and eating the
brains of the living.
A Facebook page has been created to provide more information,
and describes the event as such:
"Zombies Unite! Attention all Undead, Restless Souls, Michael
Jackson "Thriller" video extras, and anyone who's just interested
in doing something different...
This is Zombie Walk Lodi.
On Friday, October 29th, Zombies in the Lodi area will Unite to
seek out and Eat the Living!"
Not only does this seem like a chance to get your zombie on, it's a
great way to celebrate Halloween, that day when monsters of all
origins are brought together for one purpose: Tormenting the
squares.
