Let's just get this out in the open right now: I love Halloween.

I love the creative costumes, I love the the traditions, the electric atmosphere, the spooky feeling that comes from the wind rustling through the dying leaves and ... the jack-o-lanterns.

While perusing a website the other day, I came a cross a bunch of artistically carved pumpkins (like the critter on the left). It's a talent I've always admired and envied, and I can't get enough of it.

So does anyone in Lodi or the surrounding areas get imaginative and skillful with their pumpkin sculptures?

If you do, get in touch with me for a follow-up blog entry. I'd like to display the most imaginative pieces our community has to offer.

I've seen a few unique ones while out trick-or-treating with my daughter. They are out there.
