Thirsty for wine? Hungry for art? Need to create? This might just be the event for you.

The Lodi Community Art Center has put out a call to fine artists working in a multitude of media for this year's Spring Art Annual to be held at Woodbridge By Robert Mondavi Winery in Acampo.

For 50 years this juried exhibition has brought out the best our local art scene has to offer, and with the great talents working today, this year promises to be no different. There's something for every artistic taste.

Categories to be displayed, according to the Community Art Center's website, are as follows:

Oils

Acrylics

Water colors

Pastels

Sculpture & 3-dimensional

Graphics

Mixed Media

Photography (standard and digitally enhanced)

And the top prize — $300 — is nothing to sneeze at. That can buy a few new canvasses.

If you're just interested in attending, sampling some wine and just perusing the entries, the Spring Art Annual will be held On March 19 and 20.

Artists interested in entering should contact David Jon Foster via e-mail at davidjonfosterart@yahoo.com.
