I'm not sold

The statues created by Seward Johnson I wrote about in my
previous blog have come to Downtown Lodi.
Because I'm willing to give any medium the benefit of doubt, I
took a side trip to School Street to check out our latest public
art offerings.
I happened upon the old man reading a newspaper, whilst (yeah, I
said, "whilst") being licked by a pup, situated near The Dancing
Fox. There, I took a few pictures of the dog and codger.
A couple of women approached to take their own photos of the
art.
"Aren't these something," said one woman as we passed.
"Nope. Still creepy," I said.

I'm with you, Marc. It's a mix of the painted clothing/skin(on some) and being on our level.
Celebrate the Harvest–up on a big base. Not painted. Not creepy.
Kids in front of Cold Stone–painted. In my personal space. Very creepy.
